The Focus Of Yoga Is To Release The Nervous System Through The Body.
During my Teacher Training in Thailand I learnt and witnessed the amazing effects meditation and yoga has on mind, body and soul. There are so many benefits from practicing yoga, each one individual to each person. I would like to share with you what I have experienced from my daily practice from meditation and yoga, and hope you join me in my classes to see the benefits for yourself.
“Yoga is not about self-improvement;
it’s about self-acceptance”.

Your Body Speaks Your Mind
Each day I feel different, my body never feels the same. Sometimes I get into a pose and feel the subtle reactions that were not there yesterday and find it harder to hold the pose.Whats going on in my body is a reflection of whats going on in my mind. Yoga has thought me to listen to my body and become aware of my thoughts.
As I flow into each pose with a relaxed body not forcing, my mind becomes clear. I feel a sense of peace which I share with others. The more inner peace I find the more peace surrounds me. Yoga has given me the most effective sleeping pill – Peace Of Mind.
Be at least as interested in what goes on inside you
as what happens outside. If you get the inside right,
the outside will fall into place – Eckhart Toolle
Breathing Is The Essence Of Life – Our Most Vital Nutrient
After working out in gyms all my life and pushing my body to its limits, I finally found the amazing feeling of the synchronization of the breath and movement of the body. Now when I practice “Vinyasa” flow which is the continuity of movement in and out of poses I feel the positive benefits of the breath. Through practicing yoga I have learnt to be patient and present in everything I do. I have learnt that a thought is either the past or the future and the breath is the present.
I have learnt to face life’s challenges with a clear relaxed mind which gives me clear vision. I have gained physical and mental strength. I have learnt to realise that if you are depressed you are living in the past, if you are anxious you are living in the future and if you are at peace you are living in the present. Most of all I have learnt the most powerful force in life. Compassion, forgiving, and loving in everything I do.
